Photo Facial
We offer Photo Facials with our Harmony Intense Pulse Light Platform which provides advanced flourescent technology to rid the skin of any discoloration including facial veins, sunspots and ruddy appearance. The treatments also help reduce pore size appearance and stimulate the production of collagen.
As our body’s age our natural functions begin to slow down, including those mechanisms that help to keep our skin looking young. The skin has two main structural proteins – collagen (keeps the skin firm & taut) and elastin (gives the skin its flexibility). These proteins can begin to decrease in production as early as age 25 and the reduction of these proteins is what leads to the development of fine lines and wrinkles. Skin discoloration is often a result of sun exposure as well as a decrease in cell-turnover and slowed skin healing as we age.
A Photo Facial Package, generally done in 3-5 sessions at intervals or 3-4 weeks apart, addresses the key needs of an individual client’s aging skin: color, texture, and tone. It’s a relatively inexpensive way to make a big impact on your skin’s appearance.
Skin Tightening
Skin tightening can be done in combination with the photo facial or alone in a series of 3-6 treatments.
Laser Skin Tightening is a non-surgical, minimally invasive process where the energy of advanced florescent technology is delivered deep into the skin causing the collagen fibers to contract and thicken. Collagen is a family of structural proteins which are responsible for the resilience and strength of our skin. The collagen contraction is used to treat skin’s laxity and other signs of aging. The most common areas treated are the jaw line, eyes, and neck.
Skin Resurfacing
Salem Vein & Aesthetic Center offers skin resurfacing treatments, our most popular anti-aging remedies, including microdermabrasion, laser peels and chemical peels which improve the appearance of fine lines or wrinkles, scars and hyperpigmentation on the face and neck with minimal discomfort.
Microdermabrasion
This cosmetic procedure removes the dead outermost surface of the skin, with light abrasion, to remove sun-damage, dark spots and raised scars.
Our system eliminates the powder and crystals of most microderm programs. The New Apeel® has the polishing action of diamond chips. This is a medical technique for removing the topmost layer of skin, leaving the skin supple and vibrant. This treatment is less aggressive than the Micro Laser Peel, but will require more treatments. There is no discomfort and a free low level laser treatment is always included with every micro-dermabrasion treatment.
Laser Peels
The Erbium Peel is our ultra light peel that removes the top most layers of your skin, revealing a more radiant skin below. As the skin is regenerated, discoloration, wrinkles or other marks will be diminished or in many cases eliminated. We can tailor the depth of the peel and recover time to meet your individual needs.
Many facial conditions such as fine wrinkling around the eyelids, forehead, nose and mouth can be smoothed with this simple process. Deep laugh and frown lines can be minimized. Even lingering effects of chicken pox, acne scars, superficial pigmented lesions and other surface abnormalities can be successfully treated. After the treatment your treated skin will feel much like when you have a sunburn and after a few days your skin will flake and peel off. The pink color will begin to fade – healing time depends on the individual.

Chemical Peels
A chemical solution is used to improve and smooth the texture of the facial skin by removing its damaged outer layer. It is used to reduce facial blemishes, wrinkles, and even skin pigmentation.

Glycolic Peel
Glycolic Acid Therapy comes in varying strengths. At lower strengths, it is used as an exfoliant and at higher strengths it is used as a mild peel. Glycolic Acid Therapy softens and loosens the dry, dead skin cells that form a barrier layer on the skin surface. This process sheds the dead cells and uncovers new skin cells to reveal a smoother, moister, and fresher skin surface. Glycolic Acid minimizes the appearance of pores and reduces the development of pimples or other breakouts. It also stimulates circulation to the skin.
